At the land called France, there is a beautiful city marked in the history of glory, bliss, and the dark. Yes, Paris they named that place, that is the mirroring faces of millions from the past and these days.

In Paris has lived a young man, who only a few people knew. He was indeed a very special boy and full of mystery. His skin in rare colour of ebony wood made him prominent, yet not many people noticed him. It was Because he was appearing very independent. His daily duties made him happy and fulfilled his heart with gratitude. Walks around the city, studying and listening to music. Yes, I think that this is what he really liked.
The boy had an amazing memory. He memorised on the detail every step he made, every street he has been walking through, every corner of the building, and narrow paths. Yes, he had an incredible memory because he was blind.

He was Blind; that is why he couldn’t see the beautiful city through which he walked almost every day. He couldn’t see the greatness of the architecture. Yet he had an amazing gift of perceiving the power of energy. The energy of the vibrant and busy city, and those busy people that lived in its glory. Therefore, he never felt completely blind and had the courage to walk through the streets without his cane.

One day, a girl from a foreign country arrived in Paris. It was her first time there. She was thrilled by that beautiful and stunning place. She had a passion for an architecture of old days, bubbling and vibrant atmosphere of Parisian lifestyle; she indeed found all these new things quite fascinating. She didn’t feel irritated while walking throughout the street surrounded by people in a rush, neither was she disappointed when she got lost in the local underground. It’s just a common thing in big cities like Paris.

img_1794That girl was very lucky because she was blessed with an amazing opportunity to see everything that the young man could not see. Despite this, they actually had something in common. Yes, they were both very independent, but there was something even more important than that. They both were able to perceive the power of energy. It’s true that each of these two, from own point of perceiving, but the talent was certainly there.

That day, when these two souls met, it was a lovely, warm sunny day, quite rare for Paris. The girl could not miss this blissful occasion, therefore, she went for another exploring walk.
But today, her busy state of mind forced her to pay attention beyond the beautiful buildings and surroundings.
That day she was also concentrating on people, who were passing her with hectic appearance. People who were living in that magnificent place, but they were looking like they were not connected with its presence.
Who are they and how much do they care? Are they happy with their lives? Are they happy where they live? She was diving very deep into her thoughts. In her mind, she asked those questions and looked for the answers. Just until she arrived at the traffic lights and it made her stop and so did her mind. She finally looked around and observed people more closely. And there she saw the boy of ebony skin nervously looking from one side to another. Alright, she thought another busy local, who can’t wait to cross the road.

Finally green appeared, it’s time to go. But the boy did not move, like everyone else who already walked ahead. He kept looking from one side to another and looked more anxious than before. The young man was actually looking desperate to figure out what was happening around him.

Oh no, thought the girl as she kept checking back at the boy. She finally realised that he was blind. He could not hear the non-existing noise of traffic lights. She stopped in the middle of the road and went back to approach him.
There is no time to rush when someone needs your help because it usually cost only few minutes of your own life.

The boy who knew every corner of the local streets was lost, left lonely in the busy noise of the street and ignored by people who might be one of his neighbours. He stood there with a craving for a desire to be found, even just for a little moment in his life.
She touched his arm in the right moment and asked him kindly if he needs help to cross the road. She could not speak French, but language wasn’t important at that second. It was the energy that made him say yes to those strange words that he did not understand.

When the next green appeared, she took his hand and helped him to cross the road. Her task was done. But when they were walking across the road, they felt the spark of energy, the connection that most of the people have desire for, but will never be able to perceive.

From that moment, she hoped dearly to see the boy again, just to make sure that he is doing alright, at his blind world and lost in the city of millions of neighbours.

And lucky she was, only a few days later she saw the boy again at the same traffic lights. She was ready to help again.

But her help was no longer needed, because he was never lost, only that one day.

The end
